Butler & Co was established in 1986 by the Founder and Joint Managing Partner Julie Butler from her home in Bramdean and today, we continue to build our local and national reputation for providing excellent advice and first class service to all our business and personal clients alike.
From starting the business in 1986, Julie's vision for Butler & Co has always been to combine providing proactive accounts and tax planning advice and more recently Probate, Trusts and Estates advice, whilst maintaining a high level of client care and communication.

I currently manage the firm jointly with my daughter Lucy Knighton.
I am a farm and equine tax specialist and the author of Tax Planning for Farm and Land Diversification, Equine Tax Planning including the second edition titled Butler's Equine Tax Planning and I am also co-author of Stanley: Taxation of Farmers and Landowners.
