Pooleys was established in 2001 and today, we continue to build on our enviable reputation for providing excellent advice and first class service to our business and personal clients alike. David qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1985 having trained with Peat Marwick and Mitchell and moving into a commercial role as mine accountant for RTZ at South Crofty Tin Mine, where he was responsible for installing new management controls in addition to all cost controls for capital projects undertaken.
From 1988 to 2001 David was in practice with a firm based throughout the South West making partner within two years. Latterly as partner in charge of their Truro office he was instrumental in the firm's development from 4 to 20 staff and was often responsible for the training and marketing programs. To provide his clients with individually tailored accountancy and advisory services David set up Pooleys in 2001.
