I studied history at university, returning to Bournemouth and training as a Chartered Accountant with Spicer & Pegler later Spicer & Oppenheim, which eventually became Touche Ross.
On qualification I moved to Barclays PLC in their Chief Accountants' Department in Poole for the next 12 years within a wide range of statutory accounting and technical roles, before setting up my own local accountancy practice specialising in small and medium sized owner managed businesses.
My client base includes various types of business, from sole traders and partnerships through to larger businesses with many employees.
