Charltons Accountancy was established in 1994 by Alison Martin, when she started out in a small converted garage to serve a mere handful of clients.
She perceived that there was a need for the provision of a personal service to small businesses at a realistic cost.
Since then, our client base has grown to something in excess of 350 and, having outgrown the original premises, we now have a stunning new office in a lovely rural location in the village of Charlton Horethorne, near Sherborne.
Many of our original clients were fledging businesses themselves, and we have been proud to not only witness but to be a part of their growth and development.

Having outgrown our original premises, we were fortunate enough to qualify for a grant from Somerset Rural Renaissance to allow us to convert an old agricultural building back into use as a suite of modern offices.
This fantastic opportunity allowed us to expand our business, take on another member of staff and provides a professional, comfortable location to practise from.

We can be found set back from the Village Shop where we have free adjacent parking (and very few traffic jams!).
