The firm was established by Peter Williams FCA in 1983. Peter, and his wife Sheila, built a reputation for providing excellent advice to personal and business clients alike and the firm grew to become a highly regarded practice. Both Peter and Sheila retired in 2010. Lois joined in 1992 following a move to Cornwall. She completed all of her professional training with the firm and successfully qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1997.
Lois first became an associate, then a partner in the practice in 2004, eventually taking over on Peter's retirement in 2010. Lois is a keen walker, enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Karen is a local girl who trained with another practice in the region and has, over the years, gained a broad range of experience. She qualified as an Accounts Technician in 2004, and joined Peter Williams & Co in 2011.
Outside of the workplace Karen can usually be found in her stables caring for her horses, and teaching children to ride on a voluntary basis.
