Stephen Harris has been engaged in forensic accountancy since 1979. Quite simply, this is the application of accountancy skills and knowledge to assist in the resolution of legal disputes. Stephen Harris qualified as a chartered accountant in 1975, with Touche Ross & Co (now Deloitte) in Manchester.
Between 1972 and 1979 he obtained a wide range of experience in audit, accountancy and taxation.
This was in the aerospace, nuclear power, electronics, banking and insurance sectors, and also in engineering companies of various sizes and major garage groups.
Additional assignments at that time included a charity, a unit trust company and various businesses with incomplete accounting records.
