Quick Accountancy
Arrange an appointment for a friendly informal chat about how we can help you and your business. We help sole traders with their books, accounts, tax returns and advice. After a free initial consultation we prepare accounts for the client and provide a printed copy as well as submitting tax returns online to HMRC. We aim to give you a great, friendly service and get you the best tax deal possible.

We also work with many sub-contractors looking for rebates and land lords with their rentals. We help limited companies from start to establishment. We can provide as much support as is needed. Our service aims to prepare and provide a set of printed annual accounts to the client and online submission of all tax returns to HMRC and Companies House.

We offer advice on going limited and we can also help set up your limited company for you using our trusted agents. Quick Accountancy was formed in 1992 by Allan Davies to serve sole traders and businesses in the South Hampshire area and provide a friendly, low cost and helpful service aiming to get clients the best tax deal possible.

You must register when you go over the threshold, or know that you will.
The threshold is based on your VAT taxable turnover - the total of everything sold that isn't VAT exempt.
There's no threshold if neither you nor your business is based in the UK.
You must register as soon as you supply any goods and services to the UK (or if you expect to in the next 30 days).
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) may also charge you a penalty, depending on how much you owe and how late your registration was.
You can apply for a registration 'exception' if your taxable turnover goes over the threshold temporarily.
