The Practice started many moons ago as Overton & Salt, and has evolved along the way to Cooke Overton and Salt, and then to Hill & Company, when Ian Hill took over the business.
Sadly, Ian passed away in 2001 and Helen Lillis, the then Tax Manager of the practice, took control of part of the business and changed its name to Hill Lillis and Company.
Throughout the years, our office has remained in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, offering a terrific base to serve businesses and individuals in the immediate area and beyond.

James Selfe has been working for Hill Lillis for over 2 years, He is currently an ATT level 4 Apprentice.
When first joining Hill Lillis, he was employed in our payroll services department.
As he has developed and acquired new skills, he has changed roles and now works in the Tax Department, dealing with Personal Tax, Business Tax, Corportation Tax and other compliance matters.
James is also the person we all call on whenever there any technical or IT problems!
In his spare time James has 3 loves: cars, going to the gym and eating!
