The principal is Mrs Heather Fanthome, who is a Chartered Accountant, and we have eleven staff, including qualified and part-qualified Chartered Certified Accountants, and a former Inland Revenue Tax Officer. We are an Approved Training Practice of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and normally have around four trainees at different stages of qualification at any one time.
We are Registered Auditors, regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. Our office hours are 9.00 to 5.30 although we are flexible to meeting clients outside these hours. We are always happy to meet new clients, and offer a 1/2 hour meeting free of charge to meet potential clients face to face. We like to see our relationship with clients as being long-term, and feel that we offer a friendly and personal service.

Services
One member of staff deals solely with individuals for whom we prepare their annual income tax return form.
These may have a small portfolio of investments or receive rental income from a property, or a variety of pensions and earnings etc.
A large number of our clients are small businesses, encompassing sole traders, partnerships, limited liability partnerships and incorporated companies.
For these clients we would typically prepare annual accounts and also the income tax return forms for the proprietors or directors.

At any time the practice employs three to four trainees, studying for either the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualifications.
We offer an excellent study package, and vacancies for new trainees occur infrequently.
When a position does become available we require an applicant to have a minimum of two A-Levels, and the successful applicant, whilst not necessarily holding a degree, must be capable of studying for a degree course.
